The Picos de Europa National Park offers visitors a guided tour service led by the National Park guides.
The tours are guided, free of charge, conducted in Spanish, and have different levels of difficulty. Download the updated brochure from the park's website: https://parquenacionalpicoseuropa.es/visitas-guiadas/.
They are only available during the summer months, from July to September, except on weekends and public holidays.
Groups are small, with a maximum of 15 people per guide and a minimum of 3 people.
There are different starting and ending points depending on the route. Check the catalog.
It is recommended to wear mountain boots or sports shoes, bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. As this is a Mountain National Park, for safety reasons, it is necessary to carry some warm clothing and/or a rain jacket.
For long routes (more than 4 hours), it is advisable to bring food.
All routes follow paths that are not dangerous. Participants must follow the guide's instructions. The National Park is not responsible for any accidents that may occur during the tour.
Due to the fragility of this environment, its conservation depends on the responsible attitude of its visitors. Please follow the regulations applied to these Protected Areas of great value.
People with cardiovascular problems or difficulty walking should refrain from participating in these activities.
If weather conditions are adverse, this service may be suspended at the start of the tour at the discretion of the guide.
