Getting out amongst the volcanic landscapes, dramatic sea-cliffs and deep verdant interiors of these incredible islands is a hikers dream come true. Sitting off the coast of Africa with a climate that is perfect for hiking all year-round, the Canary Islands offer different experiences depending on which of the islands you choose. Almost lunar landscapes to hike through, volcanic peaks, black and white sand beaches and lush rainforests offer islands full of contrast, just waiting to be discovered.

If you plan to visit more than one island, the most common transport is the ferry. There are also small airports with local companies that can be useful if the distance is bigger, although prices tent to be higher. S-Cape trips that include routes across multiple islands, also provides ferry tickets as part of their package.
