They say all roads lead to Rome, but it must be pointed out that many caminos lead to Santiago de Compostela!
The St. James Way heads towards Santiago in Spain through southern France and onwards across the French Basque country. If you travel on this 1000 year-old-route, you’ll visit countless beautiful and atmospheric villages, several UNESCO world heritage sites, ancient churches and important pilgrimage towns such as Cahors and Sangues. You can choose to cycle the whole route in 16 days, or split this into 8 day sections (Stage 1 and Stage 2) or travel the traditional way, on foot.
It must also be noted, that although a pilgrim, our choice of accommodation is charming and the regional food and wine will be wonderful. We also transport your luggage daily, have high-quality rental bikes and e-bikes if you prefer to pedal, provide expert route notes and offer 24/7 support, meaning you just have to enjoy the slow mediative joy of the long-distance trail.
