Arrival at Valldemossa, a small town built around an old Carthusian monastery which proudly remembers the year in which Frederic Chopin and George Sand, first European bohemians, wintered here. Valldemossa can easily be reached by public bus from Palma de Mallorca.

Your first walk starts directly from your hotel. Leaving the village of Valldemossa, you reach an area with restricted access where a limited number of permits are granted each day to walk the Archduke’s Trail (Camí de s’Arxiduc). This permit is arranged for you by S-Cape Travel. Should there be no permits available, you will follow an alternative route nearby. Both options include sweeping views and an optional ascent to a peak

After a short transfer, you walk from the artists' colony of Deià to the coastal town of Port Sóller. Your route follows the coastline, through quiet Mediterranean woods (pines, oaks and madrone trees) and across a private estate where the owners serve delicious fresh orange juice.
Challenge: 12 km / 7,45 mi, 525 m ascent, 700 m descent, 5.5 hours.
Villages along the way: Deià, Port Sóller
After a taxi transfer to Cala Tuent,a summer village with a lovely beach, you begin a 6-hour walk. Your first follow the coastline to Port Sóller and then by way of the farm at Balitx d'Avall, situated among orange groves and olive orchards in one of the most remote valleys of Mallorca.
Challenge: 13,6 km / 8,45 mi, 650 m ascent, 610 m descent, 6 hours

From the port, you do a steep ascent to the cliffs which form a natural breakwater overlooking the bay. At the top, you have lovely views from 'Torre Picada', along the rocky coastline to the tiny island of S'Illeta just offshore. From the peak, you do a steep descent along a ravine to reach 'Sa Punta Llarga', a promontory which affords a lovely vista point back from sea level.
Challenge: Sa Punta Larga: 6,7 km, 270 m ascent and descent, 2,5 - 3 hours
Lake Cuber & Biniaraix: 9,7 km - 11,8km - 14,8km / 6 - 7,3 - 9,1 mi, 100 / 270 m ascent, 775 / 980 m descent, 4.5 - 1,5 hours

Family hotel located in the interior of the village of Valldemossa, 15 minutes from Palma de Mallorca. It was built from an old renovated house, which has been equipped with everything necessary to enjoy a few pleasant days of rest. Its location offers the incomparable landscape of a village between valleys, surrounded by high, leafy mountains.
Small hotel situated in a privileged part of the bay of Puerto de Sóller, right in front of the sea. Only separated by a pedestrian promenade, far away from traffic, noise and stress. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant La Brasserie will be pleased to make the stay of the guests pleasant.

If you are travelling to and from Barcelona by car, it is best to take the ferry to Palma de Mallorca. However, it is not at all convenient to take your car over to the island, as the transport fee is quite high. In addition, at the end of the trip it is faster and easier to get back to the ferry terminal by public transport or taxi than by car
